Our prayer for today is a prayer based on Acts 3: 1-11

Generous God, sometimes we forget that what matters most is not the riches of the world but the blessings we can receive in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Let us live in those blessings to see that all we have is a beautiful gift. A gift that is to be shared with others, so Jesus may be seen in us. We lift this prayer, in the name of that same Jesus our Lord, who with the Father and the Spirit is for ever glorified. Amen.

At times, we will be told to be quiet, but through your Holy Spirit, guide us to speak words of blessing and truth, so that in and through all, the love of Jesus Christ will be proclaimed.
