Our prayer for today is a prayer based on Galatians. 5: 1-15

God of freedom and life. We give thanks for the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ our Lord, who has set us free. Let us fully live in that freedom and totally discard the yoke of slavery in our lives. Let us love our neighbor as ourselves, so we don’t destroy each other with our actions or words. But let us fully live in the example of life given to us by Jesus the Christ. Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.

Father’s Day Morning: Pss. 19; 150 Evening: Pss. 81; 113 Num. 14:26–45 Acts 15:1–12 Luke 12:49–56 Our prayer for today is a prayer based on Acts 15:1–12 Blessed are you, O Lord our God, King of the universe. You knew that the whole world needed to be saved. We know that signs and wonders are being done in your name throughout the entire world. Each act calls people to come to know you as their Creator and God. Give us opportunities to share our faith and not place weighty restrictions that inhibit people from fully knowing you. So that the saving grace of Jesus Christ may dwell in the hearts of the faithful. We lift this prayer in the name of the three-in-one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
